Casey my 24 yr old thoroughbred is not an easy horse to understand. Even in his senior years his separation anxiety around horses and new places can be challenging to manage at times, as self regulation is difficult for him.

I brought Casey to 3 Clinics with Ariel, in hopes of helping him to learn a few coping strategies to manage his stress as well as increase my own skills working with horses.

Casey still has separation anxiety but is learning to handle that, before we worked with Ariel taking Casey into an empty barn without any horses or friends inside would not be a safe idea or option.

While Thor was away for training last year, Casey did well without Thor. None of that would have been possible without Ariel.

He is slowly learning that he will be ok, without his friends. ”
