Premier equestrian training and horse sales in Nova Scotia. Developing confident riders and exceptional performance horses through expert coaching and care.
Our dressage program is rooted in classical principles and FEI-level experience. We develop horses with correct biomechanics, true collection, and willing partnership from foundation through Grand Prix movements.
We evaluate your horse's natural balance, movement quality, and current level to establish a clear training path toward correct dressage development.
We follow the classical training scale, developing rhythm, suppleness, contact, impulsion, straightness, and collection through patient, progressive work.
With a solid foundation in place, we prepare horses for the show ring with confidence, accuracy, and the expression that comes from correct training.
From introductory level through FEI, our dressage program develops each horse according to classical principles, building true self-carriage and harmony between horse and rider.
Our dressage program develops horses and riders from Training Level through Grand Prix. Every session builds on a foundation of correct biomechanics, rhythm, and relaxation—the building blocks of true collection and self-carriage.
We follow classical principles grounded in the FEI training scale. Horses progress at their own pace—we never rush development or use shortcuts that compromise soundness. Lateral work, transitions, and careful gymnastic exercises form the core of every training session.
Whether your horse is starting its dressage journey or preparing for international competition, we tailor every session to build confidence, strength, and willingness.
We assist riders in finding the right horse to match their goals, experience, and long-term development.
Whether you are refining your skills or working toward competition goals, our coaching is designed to help you ride with greater confidence, clarity, and connection.

Drawing on FEI competition experience and classical dressage education, we develop horses that move with balance, expression, and true connection.

We work with horses at every stage of dressage development—from green horses just learning the basics of rhythm and contact through advanced horses competing at FEI levels including Grand Prix. Each horse receives a program tailored to its current abilities and goals.
Every horse develops differently, but most horses need 6 to 12 months of consistent training to solidly confirm a new level. We prioritize correct development over quick advancement. Rushing levels often creates holes in training that become much harder to fix later.
Yes. We prepare horse and rider teams for USDF recognized shows, schooling shows, and FEI competitions. Our show preparation includes targeted practice of test movements, mock test rides, and helping horses learn to perform confidently in a show atmosphere.
Absolutely. While warmbloods are common in the dressage ring, the principles of correct training benefit every breed. We have trained Quarter Horses, Thoroughbreds, Arabians, and many other breeds. Every horse can develop improved balance, suppleness, and responsiveness through correct dressage work.
A typical session begins with a thorough warm-up focused on looseness and rhythm, then moves into the day’s specific work—which might include lateral exercises, transitions within and between gaits, or test movements. We always end on a positive note and cool down properly.
Yes. Rider development is a core part of our program through our Rider Coaching services. Effective dressage requires a rider who can communicate clearly and sit in balance. We work on seat development, correct use of the aids, and building the feel that dressage demands.
